We went up to our first high camp below the 5300m Kang La pass this morning. We are now at 4373m with fantastic on the Annapurna range.
Lars was feeling particularly good and decided to go up to the pass before lunch while the others spent the day resting. Tomorrow we will finally enter our designated research area Damodar-Himal where we will spent the next two weeks dealing with yak pastoralism, changes due to tourism, old trade routes and beautiful 6000m peaks.
